Rare Eames Folding Screen

Extremely rare Eames folding screen circa 1940’s. Waves of wood to build privacy, mask clutter, divide space, or simply to stand in a room as a free form sculpture. One of the earliest of Charles and Ray Eames’ designs in molded plywood, the screen curves to fit any kind of space and folds away neatly when not in use. Six movable ten inch-wide sections are fashioned from birch plywood and hinged with canvas.
