Rare Charles Eames Lithograph

Rare Charles Eames lithograph from 1929. This piece was executed when Eames was a student at Cranbrook University and was working on the sets of the St. Louis Opera Company. It is entitled: ‘Building the Sets’ and is the only known example of this work.

Raymond Conner Walnut and Tile Lamps

Prototype pair of solid walut and inlaid ceramic tile lamps by designer Raymond Connor circa mid 1960’s. Connor was a craftsman designer who worked in Arizona and California on comission works for corporations and individuals and his limited works were mainly done in solid walnut. These lamps came from the artist’s estate and were designed for his personal home.

Hanging Parrot Chair by Ib Argreg

Early 1970’s hanging chair by Ib Argreg. Features a chrome cage with Alexander Girard upholstered seat cushions and black metal base. Excellent restored condition.

Thirties Yombe Fetish

This figure is a Yombe Fetish Figure, from Zaire
The nail fetishes, or nkisi, served to seal agreements, to restore health to the spirit or body, or lastly to destroy an enemy or sorcerer through magic.
A nail or some type of metal was added to the sculpture as agreements rendered or to settle disputes.
This was done by one of the high elders.

Pair of Henredon Red Lacquered Mirrors

Pair of solid ash wood and brass mirrors by Henredon circa mid 1960’s. Mirrors have been newly lacquered in a deep red and the brass accents newly polished.
