Early Dorothy Fratt Color Block Acrylic Painting

Arizona artist Dorothy Fratt did abstract color block paintings in the 80’s and 90’s. This example is entitled “Gulf of California” and measures 54″ x 42″. Fratt had Rothko’s sensibility for color and subtlety with a hint of the southwest in some of her works. Gulf of California is a large early work for Fratt.

Elegant bar/serving cart designed by Michael Taylor for Baker circa early 1950’s. This functional and sculptural piece is done in solid mahogany with a beautiful x detail to the base and an expandable top with with white melamine on the underside. Measures closed at 43″ and 69″ when open. Excellent restored condition.

Fantastic One Off Desk by Wendell Wilson

Solid stacked and sculpted cherry wood and glass desk by Wendell Wilson circa 1976. This one off exquisite piece was created while the artist was a student at the Kansas City Art institute and took Wilson nearly a year to complete.
The single subtly curved leg ingenious glass surface area and hidden interior drawers make this truly an extraordinary yet functional piece of sculpture.
