Important Pair of Warren Mcarthur Floor Lamps
Important pair of Warren Mcarthur floor lamps designed for the Arizona Biltmore hotel in Phoenix in 1927. These examples are done in tubular black iron with solid square iron bases neath each tubular rod. The shades were custom made to match the originals and are done in a pleated egg shell silk. These lamps are a pair of only a limited number that were produced for the lobby of the Biltmore.

Wynn Chamberlain was once described by the NY Times as a “pioneer realist painter.” He was a painter, author and film maker and ran in social circles with the likes of Andy Warhol. This masterfully painted oil on board dates from the mid 1960’s and depicts a still life of wood and rocks at the beach neath a cloud filled powder blue sky. Price upon request.
