Spectacular Oak & Mirrored Desk

Spectacular lacquered oak and mirrored desk by Xception circa 1976. Features mirrored drawer fronts and desk back with one large file drawer and two medium sized drawers. Ideally this piece would float in a room as the back single leg and mirroring detail are truly sculptural. Impeccably restored.

Rare Piero Fornasetti Pompeiana Screen

4 panel ‘Pompeiana’ screen by Piero Fornasetti. This exquisite colorful play on life in Pompeii has motifs of ancient Greece that are hand transferred colored and lacquered in vibrant hues. This example is signed and numbered one of two and was done in 1990. Excellent original condition.

Ray Fink Oil Painting

Ray Fink oil on masonite board circa early 1960’s. Ray Fink was a former Dean of art at Arizona State University. He studied at the Chicago Art Institute and showed with many influential artists of the 20th century, including Harry Bertoia and Alexander Calder. This piece is meant to hang in a corner and is done in black and white oil.

Rare Edward Wormley for Dunbar Janus Dining Chairs

Set of six Edward Wormley for Dunbar dining chairs model numbers 5606 and 5607 circa 1956. These examples were designed for the Janus line (representing Wormley’s greatest designs) and are done in sculpted black walnut with brass stretchers. The upholstery is a burnt orange English saddle leather. These chairs are extremely rare and we have not been able to find any other similar examples. They were purchased from individuals who had one of the first three Dunbar showrooms in the country.

Elegant Walnut & Cut Velvet Dining Chairs

Set of six solid walnut and cut velvet dining chairs circa mid 1950’s. All 6 chairs are arm chairs and feature sculpted arms flared back legs and tapered front legs. The upholstery has been newly done in a cut velvet and linen fabric and chairs have been newly lacquered. Price is for the set of six.

15 Foot Monterey Dining Table

Heavily patinated solid birch and iron dining table by Monterey circa mid 1940’s. The patina on this table is rugged layered and extremely rich. The legs are hand turned and join to the top of the table with iron stretchers. The same iron detailing is repeated on the center connecting wood stretcher.
This table free standing with out any leaves measures 9 feet long and has 6 additional one foot leaves to make the table 15′ long when fully extended.

Large Scale Curtis Jere Table Lamp

Large scale lamp by Curtis Jere circa early 1970’s. This example has a chrome shade and beautifully formed chrome body. Lamp does have some light wear and nice patina to the chrome.
