Prototype Allen Ditson Adjustable Side Table

Allen Ditson and wife Lee Porzio were designers in Phoenix in the 1950’s through the 1970’s. Lee was an accomplished painter and weaver and Allen was a master furniture designer. This side table is from the artist’s personal collection and is a prototype. It is adjustable in size and in excellent condition.

Kofod Larsen Occasional Chairs

Elegant occasional chairs by Ib Kofod Larsen circa late 1950’s. These examples have anodized aluminum arms that wrap all the way around the back. The frames are mahogany that has been newly lacquered and the upholstery has been done in a smooth black leather. Excellent restored condition.

Elegant Italian gondola sofa circa late 1950’s. This example has incredible tapering black lacquered legs and stretchers and is upholstered in a wonderful striped cotton linen blend.
The swooping arms and buttoned seat detailing are fantastic.

Rare Gilbert Watrous for Heifetz Lamp

This lamp by Gilbert Watrous was the award winning design of the 1951 MoMA Low Cost Lighting Competition. The long arm balances on a magnetic ball perched on a singular rod mounted in walnut. The lamp can be rotated 360 degrees and can be used as a table or floor lamp.

Lacquered Italian Desk

Fantastic black lacquered desk from Italy circa late 1950’s. This example has three drawers and three sliding doors for ample storage. The cross stretchers form an elegant x and the the legs have satin finished brass covers. Excellent restored condition.

Edward Wormley for Dunbar Walnut & Rosewood Desk

Spectacular solid walnut rosewood brass and leather desk by Edward Wormley for Dunbar circa early 1960’s. This desk features two tamboured solid rosewood roll tops with incredible wood graining. Three smaller drawers are also faced in solid rosewood. The hardware and hinging are polished brass and the legs and exterior structure of the desk is solid dark walnut. The center of the desk unhinges for larger work surface area. Newly refinished this desk is truly stunning.
