Rare George Nelson Steel Frame Lounge Chair
George Nelson for Herman Miller steel frame lounge chair circa late 1950’s. What makes this chair extraordinary is the fabric. It has been upholstered in a dead stock original Alexander Girard striped textile and looks stunning. The steel chair frame has been newly powder coated and the walnut arms newly finished. Pair of Renzo Rutili for Johnson chests of drawers circa late 1950’s. These beautiful examples have dark walnut stained mahogany cases and drawer fronts while the pulls and sculptural legs are a bleached mahogany. Excellent restored condition. Price is for the pair.
