Pair of original Eames folding screens circa 1940’s. These sculptural screens feature waves of wood to build privacy, mask clutter, divide space, or simply to stand in a room as free form pieces of art. One of the earliest of Charles and Ray Eames’ designs in molded plywood, the screen curves to fit any kind of space and folds away neatly when not in use. Movable ten inch-wide sections are fashioned from birch plywood and hinged with canvas. One of these screens is a six panel and the other is an eight panel. The six panel is priced at $3400 and the eight panel is $4800.
