Ingrid Atterberg Vessel

Interesting petite vessel by Ingrid Atterberg for Upsala Ekeby (Sweden). Gray matte finish with white gloss glaze on inside and on carved detail. Part of her Negro series that was produced between 1953 and 1958. Chop marks on base and original sticker on the neck. Excellent condition.

James Fortmann Bulbous Ceramic Vessel

James Fortmann was a potter and professor who taught and produced pottery in California and Arizona. This piece was done in the mid 1950’s and is a three tiered bulbous form in a natural stone glaze with a pre Columbian woven motif on the front and back.
