Mixed media painting by Phoenix artist Jonathan Wayne. This piece is from a language series wherein the artist wrote a series of poems on the under workings of the canvas painted and drew on top of those words then on scraps of paper rewrote the words and pasted them to the canvas.

Rare charcoal drawing by Chicago artist Shoshannah. Shoshannah taught at the Chicago Art Institute in the late 1950′s and this particular drawing was featured in a travelling grapfics show that displayed the works of Jackson Pollock Georgia Okeefe and Koloman Sokol.
