4 Large Scale Stan Bitters Ceramic Pots

4 large scale ceramic vessels by Stan Bitters circa early 1970’s. Three of these earthenware thumb pots are 12″ tall with 18″ diameters the tallest and fourth example measuring 24″ tall with a 21″ diameter. The three examples range from a deep purple glaze to earth tones with seafoam green highlights. The larger example has a cashew colored glaze. Each can be sold individually or as a group. Rare cast aluminum and walnut sculpture by Erica Gorecka-Egan, circa 1978. Gorecka-Egan’s work typically was two dimensional as she was a prominent illustrator. Her work was featured at the Museum of Modern Art in the 1940s. This example has cast animal motifs mounted on a free-form walnut back.
