Steven Sles oil on linen painting circa mid 1960′s. Sles was a handicapped painter who studied under Hans Hoffman and remarkably painted all his works with his mouth. This painting was exhibited in an exposition in Santa Barbara in the late 1940′s. It is oil on linen and features two thoughtfully painted reclining figures. The painting could use a good cleaning and does have some crazing spots to the surface.
