Howard Finster Home Guard Cat Outsider Art Sculpture

Wonderful outsider/folk art by Howard Finster circa 1992. This hand carved hand painted example entitled Home Guard Cat depicts several teepee looking structures with figures inside windows other figures making offerings still others next to crudely drawn flowers and dogs.

Wonderful outsider/folk art by Howard Finster circa 1991. This hand carved hand painted example has more than a few dozen philosophical and poetic outbursts hand written by Finster.
The statements and hand coloring/painting make for a very moving and raw piece of outsider art. Red also has acquired another Finster piece entitled Home Guard Cat.

Lee Porzio tinted concrete wall art circa late 1950’s. Lee Porzio and Allen Ditson were a husband and wife design time who did commission work for individuals and institutions all over the United States from the 1950’s – 1980’s. this is an early example of Porzio’s work.

Jose Bechara mixed media painting entitled ‘Orange Little Flag’. This example combines oxidized iron and paint on tarp for a striking minimalist work. This was executed in 2006.
