Unusual Ray Fink Sculpture

Ray Fink studied at the Chicago Art Institute and later became the dean of art at Arizona State University. Between his studies and becoming Dean he had several one man shows across the country. This sculpture is done in a Peters ammunition case and has 5 carved skeletal figures within. The writing on the case reads:
‘Every shot counts with Peters 22′s.’

Rare large scale budding vase by Axel Salto for Royal Copenhagen circa late 1940′s. This example is done in a dark crimson glaze and is encised Salto on the bottom. The Royal Copenhagen stamp also graces the bottom. Excellent original condition.

Rare ‘Hand & Foot’ clock by Surrealist master Pedro Friedeberg from Mexico circa mid 1960′s. This example has 12 gilt mahogany hands each conveying a different number. The clock face back and legs are hand painted in a sky blue. The reverse side of the front left leg is signed by the artist. Excellent original condition.

Large Scale Heavily Patinated Folk Art Bull

Wonderful folk/tramp art bull from Mexico circa 1940′s. This hand carved wood sculpture has layers of original patina and is the sort of piece that transcends styles. It can be placed in the mix with mid century pieces or to create whimsy in any room.
This was purchased from a prominent Phoenix artist’s estate who collected unusual mid century, African and Mexican sculpture furniture and objects.
