Early Eero Saarinen for Knoll womb chair circa 1950. This example has the solid black iron frame that is no longer in production and is done in Knoll cream boucle. It has been impeccably restored. Unusual Saarinen Samson Berman Coffee Table

Round Eero Saarinen for Knoll coffee table circa late 1950′s. The unusual part of this table are the inlaid colorful ceramic tiles in the top. This table is part of an estate designed by New York interior designer Samson Berman. Part of Berman’s flair involved inlaying tile and other exotic materials into pre existing designs.
This is a one off table and is part of several Berman pieces that Red recently acquired and will be featuring in the coming days.

Set of four dining chairs by Eero Saarinen for Knoll circa late 1950′s. These chairs feature the early shorter bent wood walnut legs and have been upholstered in a wonderfully rich Knoll Haze fabric which has tones of orange and pink. Price is for the set of four.

The Saarinen Grasshopper chair was the first chair Eero Saarinen designed for Knoll. This example dates from the late 1940′s and features supple pumpkin colored leather. The sinuous flowing birch arms give the chair the perfect pitch for great comfort and incredible lines.
