Pair of Max Gottschalk leather and iron sling chairs circa early 1970’s. These all original examples are upholstered in broken in caramel saddle leather that sit atop three angled legs and perforated iron backs. These chairs also swivel. Price is for the pair.
Patinated leather and steel sling chair by Max Gottschalk circa mid 1970’s. This example has a hand stitched back with fantastic broken in leather sling with a swooping steel frame. Gottschalk’s original stamp appears on the back side of the leather.
Prototype Max Gottschalk ‘secretary’ chair circa mid 1970’s. The seat of this chair was said to have been fastened after the naked rear end of Gottschalk’s secretary. Purchased directly from the designer this chair has the Gottschalk stamp and an asstonishing profile. Excellent original condition.
