Important Pair of Warren Mcarthur Floor Lamps

Important pair of Warren Mcarthur floor lamps designed for the Arizona Biltmore hotel in Phoenix in 1927. These examples are done in tubular black iron with solid square iron bases neath each tubular rod. The shades were custom made to match the originals and are done in a pleated egg shell silk. These lamps are a pair of only a limited number that were produced for the lobby of the Biltmore.

Cerused oak table lamps circa early 1950′s reminiscent of the work of Paul Laszlo. These examples have their original grain filled finish wherein the grain appears white while the finish itself is a deep black. The shades are all original and are brass rimmed parchment. Excellent original condition.
