6 Foersom & Lorenzen Mikado Dining Chairs

Set of 6 beech and walnut arm chairs by Foersom and Lorenzen for Kvist Mobler. These sculptural yet elegant examples are modern interpretations of 18th century Windsor chairs. The walnut legs are tapered and splayed and the backs are perfectly formed walnut spindles. The joinery on these chairs is phenomenal as well using the seat as the point of connection and strength for the entire design.

Prototype Allen Ditson Side Tables

Allen Ditson and wife Lee Porzio were Arizona craftsman from the late 1950’s through the mid 1970’s. Allen was a master wood worker and metal smith and Lee was a visual artist who created textiles and wonderful oil paintings.
These tables were created for the artists’ personal residence. They feature removable walnut triangular tops and beautifully formed solid walnut legs. Excellent restored condition. Red has several custom pieces by Ditson and Porzio.
