Pair of Paul Mccobb brass and mahogany chests circa late 1950’s. These examples were created for Mccobb’s Connoisseur Collection. The case is striped African mahogany with two doors with adjustable shelf behind and one drawer per chest. These have recently been impeccably refinished. Price listed is for both chests.

Pair of Mahogany & Brass Danish Chests

Pair of mahogany and brass chests from Denmark circa late 1950’s. These lovely examples each have beautifully grained mahogany cases with brass hinges and tapered brass legs. The interiors are maple with adjustable shelves and interior drawers. These have been impeccably refinished. Price listed is for both cabinets.

Stunning Milo Baughman for Glenn of California walnut chest circa late 1950’s. This example has been impeccably refinished and has sliding tambour doors, three interior drawers with original lacquered fronts and sits atop solid walnut tapered legs.

Hand-Painted Faux Malachite and Bakelite Chest

Hand-painted faux malachite and bakelite chest, circa early 1950s. This extraordinary example has subtly curved black and white bakelite handles and hand-painted fronts sides and top. The base is an inset black lacquered plinth.

Brazilian Rosewood Chest

Smaller scale rosewood chest circa early 1970’s. This example has two drawers with inset rosewood handles and two sliding doors with more then ample interior storage. One side has an adjustable interior shelf the other completely open.

Rare 10 drawer chest of drawers by Kipp Stewart and Stewart Macdougall for Glenn of California circa mid 1960’s. This example has a walnut box and drawer fronts, black bronze metal drawer pulls and original ebonized single drawer front.

Early George Nelson Herman Miller Chest

Early George Nelson for Herman Miller chest of drawers circa early 1950’s. This example has its original white laminate top and has been newly finished in a rich walnut lacquer.
There are five drawers and two large doors with adjustable shelves and two interior drawers. The pulls have been newly polished.

Cerused Paul Laszlo Highboy

Paul Laszlo for Brown Saltman cerused oak highboy circa late 1950’s. This example has three external drawers that are clad in lovely solid oak squares. Behind the two top doors are three internal drawers for more storage. Please see our other listings for the accompanying lowboy.
Both chests have recently been cerused in a dark gray finish with off white wood grain.

Rare Edward Wormley Dunbar Janus Chest

Rare Edward Wormley for Dunbar Janus chest #5811 circa early 1950’s. This all original example has a solid dark walnut frame with large dove tail detailing and inset lighter walnut doors. Interior has one large drawer and open storage.

Early George Nelson Herman Miller modular chest on bench circa early 1950’s. This very functional example has an ebonized walnut chest with glass doors and shelves that sits atop a two tone slat bench. These pieces have been impeccably refinished.
