Stunning Burlwood and Polished Brass Chest by Mastercraft

Stunning burl wood and polished brass chest by Mastercraft circa mid 1960’s. This remarkable example has incredibly figured burl doors and top with polished brass hardware and legs. The interior is black lacquer with drawers adjustable shelves and inset brass handles. The entire sideboard has recently been impeccably restored.

Fabulous pair of Edward Wormley for Dunbar chests of drawers circa early 1950’s. These all original examples have two drawers each with architectural black walnut and brass handles. The backs are finished and the drawer fronts have great angled forms.

Hand-painted faux malachite and bakelite chest, circa early 1950s. This extraordinary example has subtly curved black and white bakelite handles and hand-painted fronts sides and top. The base is an inset black lacquered plinth.

Brazilian Rosewood Chest

Smaller scale rosewood chest circa early 1970’s. This example has two drawers with inset rosewood handles and two sliding doors with more then ample interior storage. One side has an adjustable interior shelf the other completely open.

Rare 10 drawer chest of drawers by Kipp Stewart and Stewart Macdougall for Glenn of California circa mid 1960’s. This example has a walnut box and drawer fronts, black bronze metal drawer pulls and original ebonized single drawer front.

Early George Nelson for Herman Miller chest of drawers circa early 1950’s. This example has its original white laminate top and has been newly finished in a rich walnut lacquer.
There are five drawers and two large doors with adjustable shelves and two interior drawers. The pulls have been newly polished.
