One off Allen Ditson Walnut Cocktail Table

Free form Allen Ditson cocktail table commissioned in 1959. This one off example was hand-carved with no power stools and reportedly took the artist over a year to create. It was formed from stacked sculpted solid black walnut. The insert in the top was made originally to hold a ceramic bowl.
