Stunning Mahogany Leather and Brass Sideboard by Harvey Probber

Stunning mahogany brass and leather sideboard or credenza by Harvey Probber, circa late 1950s. This lovely example is striped African mahogany and has 12 drawers (four exterior and eight interior), subtly curved solid mahogany pulls and two leather and brass clad sliding doors. The interior drawers are white lacquer. The entire chest has been newly and impeccably refinished.

Incredible 9′ rosewood credenza from Brazil circa late 1950’s. This example combines lovely book matched graining brass detailing and delicate subtly curved saber legs. The chest has 5 doors with interior adjustable shelves and three drawers. It has recently been done in an oil finish.

Incredible 9′ rosewood credenza from Brazil circa late 1950’s. This stunning example has 4 latching doors with adjustable interior shelves and 4 exterior drawers. The drawer pulls and legs are solid rosewood and the graining of the entire chest is intricate with lovely blond sap grain throughout. The chest has recently been oil finished.

Ib Kofod-Larsen rosewood credenza circa early 1960’s. This fabulous example has three sliding doors with inset grooved handles on the top of each door. The interior is oak and has pull out trays and adjustable shelves. Case is remarkably grained Brazilian rosewood.

Rare Giuseppe Scapinelli patchwork rosewood sideboard circa late 1950′s. This stunning nearly 8′ example has four doors clad patchwork rosewood fronts and beautifully grained rosewood case. The center section has 4 drawers and behind the other three doors are adjustable shelves. The base is solid rosewood and the entire chest has recently been oiled.

Rosewood & Lacquered Credenza by Founders

Brazilian rosewood and black lacquered credenza by Founders circa late 1960’s. This chest has a beautifully grained rosewood exterior with black and chrome metal door pulls. The 4 doors open to reveal an interior that has two large drawers and two adjustable shelves. The chest sits on a black lacquered plinth base. Excellent restored condition.

Paul Frankl for Johnson Furniture Company sideboard circa early 1950’s. This example is done in striped African mahogany and has seven drawers and two doors with interior storage. The x pulls are solid brass and the solid cork top has been newly refinished.
