Prototype Allen Ditson Adjustable Side Table

Allen Ditson and wife Lee Porzio were designers in Phoenix in the 1950’s through the 1970’s. Lee was an accomplished painter and weaver and Allen was a master furniture designer. This side table is from the artist’s personal collection and is a prototype. It is adjustable in size and in excellent condition.

Kofod Larsen Occasional Chairs

Elegant occasional chairs by Ib Kofod Larsen circa late 1950’s. These examples have anodized aluminum arms that wrap all the way around the back. The frames are mahogany that has been newly lacquered and the upholstery has been done in a smooth black leather. Excellent restored condition.

Rare Gilbert Watrous for Heifetz Lamp

This lamp by Gilbert Watrous was the award winning design of the 1951 MoMA Low Cost Lighting Competition. The long arm balances on a magnetic ball perched on a singular rod mounted in walnut. The lamp can be rotated 360 degrees and can be used as a table or floor lamp.
