Dora De Larios (1933-2018) was a midcentury L.A. ceramist and sculptor known for her clean lines and distinctive glazes. De Larios often drew from her Mexican heritage in her work creating decorative sculptures depicting mythological characters and a love of nature, as shown here with this small owl figurine. Sculpture bears her signature on the bottom.
