These are the earliest pair of Knoll Barcelona chairs that we have seen in some time. Patinated leather and steel sling chair by Max Gottschalk circa mid 1970’s. This example has a hand stitched back with fantastic broken in leather sling with a swooping steel frame. Gottschalk’s original stamp appears on the back side of the leather.

Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen high back swivel Oxford chair circa mid 1960’s. This example has it’s original heavily patinated caramel leather and star aluminum base. We love how perfectly broken in the leather is on this chair but we can also happily upholstery it in the leather or fabric of your choice.
