Rare Cocktail Table by Pepe Mendoza

Rare cocktail table by Pepe Mendoza circa late 1950’s. Mendoza is an important Mexican designer who only produced limited numbers of furniture in the late 1950’s and 60’s. This example has all the elements of Mendoza’s unusual aesthetic. The legs are solid tapering brass forms with inset turquoise and green hued ceramic. They are capped by solid brass circles with inset stars that screw through the glass top.
Excellent original condition.

Sculptural Teak Bench by Lovig

Solid teak bench of cutout squares by Lovig circa mid 1960’s. This bench is elegant in its simplicity and features solid linear legs with wonderful cut out detailing to the top. This bench could also be dressed up with a cushion fashioned to your specs.

Incredible Spalted Beech Table by Howard Werner

Solid spalted beech table by master wood worker Howard Werner circa early 1990’s. This table has incredible natural color variation that comes from the age of the wood and of the inherent beauty of spalted beech. There are sinuous black lines and variations of color in the wood that appear to be hand drawn that are but times artistic expression in the wood. The table rests on a solid 12″ beech ball. This table was specially commissioned in the early 90’s and is in excellent original condition.

Free Form Lucite & Glass Cocktail Table

Free form lucite and glass cocktail table circa early 1960’s. This example is composed of 22 lucite rods and retains it’s original three quarter inch 42″ glass. Excellent original condition.

Free Form Cocktail Table by Gibbings for Widdicomb

Free form cocktail table by T.H. Robsjohn Gibbings for Widdicomb circa mid 1950’s. This all original example has a lovely grained elm top with conical tapering brass legs.
Finish does show some wear and crazing but is stunning and beautifully broken in.

Germani Smith Caterpillar Bench

Daniel Germani designed and Brett Smith constructed solid walnut and baltic birch bench. From the designer’s caterpillar line this piece features nine sets of solid walnut legs and ample surface area that can be used as a sitting platform or as a coffee table. Sideboards and entry tables are also available from this collection and this bench can be custom built to any specs.

Tobia Scarpa Knoll Andre Cocktail Table

Tubular chrome cocktail table designed by Tobia Scarpa for Knoll circa early 1970’s. This example has four large tubular chrome legs with a chrome grid pattern above that supports the half inch thick 45″ glass top.
