John Van Koert for Drexel walnut and birch desk circa late 1950’s. This stunning example has a sculptural solid walnut frame with inset birch tambour door. There is one large drawer and interior cubbies and storage space behind the tambour door. The hardware is a satin finished nickel and the entire desk has been impeccably refinished.

Stunning Brazilian rosewood and chrome desk from Denmark circa mid 1960’s. This example is finished on all sides in beautifully grained rosewood and has a file drawer on the right side and three interior dovetailed drawers on the left side. Desk opening 26″ wide.

Phenomenal Parquetry Writing Desk

Phenomenal parquetry writing desk from Syria circa 1920’s. This highly detailed example has absolutely incredible inlay work of mother of pearl and exotic woods to form magnificent patterns and array of colors. There are three drawers on the bottom and three smaller drawers on top. There have been some touch ups and repairs done to this piece over the years but this is truly a remarkable work both in craftsmanship and aesthetics.
