Stunning Custom Edward Wormley Dunbar Sideboard
Custom special ordered Edward Wormley for Dunbar ebony lacquered and brass sideboard circa late 1950’s. This impeccably restored example has the same finish as a Steinway piano and predates Wormley’s use of Natzler and Tiffany tiles. It has a meticulously done hand rubbed black lacquer finish.
The interior of the chest has 8 drawers in the center adjustable shelf on the left of the chest and drawer and storage for trays on the right.
The doors are all accordion doors with satin brass hinges and they all fold in upon themselves.
Rare Server by Edward Wormley for Dunbar
Rare server by Edward Wormley for Dunbar circa 1960. This example was executed in Brazilian rosewood cork and striped mahogany. The top is two toned striped mahogany and the frame is done in exquisitely grained Brazilian rosewood. The server has one drawer and the shelves are lined in their original cork.

Rare Edward Wormley for Dunbar ‘Listen to Me’ chaise circa late 1940’s. This incredible example has a maple with inlaid cherry frame thathas been impeccably refinished and has been newly upholstered in a lovely terra cotta orange leather.
The brass stretchers have been hand polished as well.

Striking Edward Wormley for Dunbar Sofa
Edward Wormley for Dunbar sofa circa early 1950’s. This example has been masterfully upholstered in a wonderful Maharam Even 010 Onyx fabric which has a little bronze sheen neath the charcoals and blacks. This fabric melds seamlessly with the brass legs. Excellent restored condition. Arm height is 22.75″.
Important Edward Wormley Dunbar 5752 Chest
Important Edward Wormley for Dunbar chest #5752 circa 1960. This example was done for the Janus line and was a special order in size and finish (bleached walnut and rosewood). The chest features 6 original hand carved Japanese wood blocks that are inset two per door. There are three doors that each have an adjustable shelf on the interior. There are three rosewood pencil drawers for additional storage and the bleached walnut legs have brass detailing on the ends.
