Jackie Carson was an effervescent eclectic being who resided in Phoenix Arizona. This example is a true minimalist wonder with great balance and flow of color. Her works of art done from the late 1960’s to early 80’s reflect a purity of vision and affinity for color and movement. Rare pair of Pierre Paulin for Artifort Ribbon chairs circa late 1960’s. These early examples of functional sculpture are proof of Paulin’s forward thinking and ingenious interpretation of form. These examples are upholstered in a radically pop multi colored fabric and have been impeccably restored.

Set of four figural chairs by John Risley circa early 1960’s. These examples are done in formed iron each with big eyes crossed hands and smiling faces. They can be used indoors or out and are in excellent original condition.

Pre Production Herman Miller Chair

Pre production ‘Roll Back’ chair designed by Ray Wilkes for Herman Miller circa late 1970’s. This chair was purchased from a former Herman Miller executive and was the prototype for this limited production chair. It features an orange metal frame with orange upholstery and an adjustable tubular back that can be placed in seven different positions.

Rare Pedro Friedeberg Clock

Rare ‘Hand & Foot’ clock by Surrealist master Pedro Friedeberg from Mexico circa mid 1960’s. This example has 12 gilt mahogany hands each conveying a different number. The clock face back and legs are hand painted in a sky blue. The reverse side of the front left leg is signed by the artist. Excellent original condition.

Gilbert Rohde for Herman Miller High Boy Chest

Stunning Gilbert Rohde for Herman Miller highboy dresser circa late 1930’s. This chest has six drawers with elegant chrome drawer pulls black lacquered trim banding and wonderful graining to the Paldao wood. The bottom drawer is a double drawer. Matching lowboy and night stand also available in our other listings. Excellent restored condition.

Exotic Augousti Parchment & Snakeskin Desk

Ria and Yiouri Augousti desk and stool circa early 1990’s. The desk top and sides are done in squares of snake skin. The drawer fronts back and underside of the desk are done in parchment. There are four drawers for ample storage and the accompanying stool is upholstered in cowhide with snake skin sides.
