Fantastic One Off Desk by Wendell Wilson

Solid stacked and sculpted cherry wood and glass desk by Wendell Wilson circa 1976. This one off exquisite piece was created while the artist was a student at the Kansas City Art institute and took Wilson nearly a year to complete.
The single subtly curved leg ingenious glass surface area and hidden interior drawers make this truly an extraordinary yet functional piece of sculpture.

These examples have three drawers each and are done in a rich chocolate brown lacquer with incredible graining to the burl. The bases are satin bronze plinths.
