Set of four Hans Wegner GE 375 lounge chairs circa early 1960’s. These solid oak examples have been recently cerused so that the lovely graining of the oak has an off white tint and the background a rich and deep chocolate brown. The upholstery has been done in a milk chocolate leather that subtly picks up the hues of the lacquer. These can be sold as pairs or as a set of four.

Rare Set Of 8 Hans Wegner Chairs
Rare and wonderful set of 8 ‘The Chairs’ by Hans Wegner for Johannes Hansen circa mid 1950’s. These examples are unusual as they have woven cane seats. Two have woven cane backs and 6 have sculpted wood backs. The joinery craftsmanship and presence of these chairs is truly remarkable and they are all original.

These examples have a wonderful cerused finish wherein the base color is a chocolate walnut and the exquisite graining is off white. The upholstery has been done in a period Danish fabric.
