Edward Wormley for Dunbar partners desk circa early 1960’s. This stunning example has a newly lacquered mahogany frame with polished brass accents. The top has inlaid leather and the drawer pulls are beautifully grained solid rosewood.
The beauty of this desk is its functionality – essentially like two desks in one. The three drawers open on both sides for more than ample storage and versatility for more than one user at one time. Excellent restored condition.

Edward Wormley for Dunbar magazine table circa late 1950’s. This example is two toned and has a beautiful clover shaped ash top with solid mahogany legs and sides. The sides are steamed and formed so as to hold magazines and have hand polished brass fittings. Excellent restored condition.

Edward Wormley for Dunbar dining table circa 1954. This example is two tone and has two removable leaves that have their original storage case (see photos). The top is done in natural walnut and the base in peppercorn walnut. This table was purchased from individuals who had one of the first three Dunbar showrooms in the country and comes with the original wood swatches with the lacquered finishes that correspond to this table. (see photos).

Edward Wormley for Dunbar Walnut & Rosewood Desk
Spectacular solid walnut rosewood brass and leather desk by Edward Wormley for Dunbar circa early 1960’s. This desk features two tamboured solid rosewood roll tops with incredible wood graining. Three smaller drawers are also faced in solid rosewood. The hardware and hinging are polished brass and the legs and exterior structure of the desk is solid dark walnut. The center of the desk unhinges for larger work surface area. Newly refinished this desk is truly stunning.
Rare Edward Wormley for Dunbar Janus Dining Chairs
Set of six Edward Wormley for Dunbar dining chairs model numbers 5606 and 5607 circa 1956. These examples were designed for the Janus line (representing Wormley’s greatest designs) and are done in sculpted black walnut with brass stretchers. The upholstery is a burnt orange English saddle leather. These chairs are extremely rare and we have not been able to find any other similar examples. They were purchased from individuals who had one of the first three Dunbar showrooms in the country.
