Rosewood and flat bar steel desk by Formanova circa mid 1960’s. This example has six drawers and two open backs for additional storage. The graining on the rosewood is exceptional and the desk has been impeccably restored.

Elegant satin brass chest circa late 1950’s. This example has a wonderfully patinated brass exterior, with two large dove tailed drawers each with five circular brass pulls.

Unusual Saarinen Samson Berman Coffee Table

Round Eero Saarinen for Knoll coffee table circa late 1950’s. The unusual part of this table are the inlaid colorful ceramic tiles in the top. This table is part of an estate designed by New York interior designer Samson Berman. Part of Berman’s flair involved inlaying tile and other exotic materials into pre existing designs.
This is a one off table and is part of several Berman pieces that Red recently acquired and will be featuring in the coming days.

Fabulous Mahogany Ebony & Brass Sideboard

Mahogany ebony and brass sideboard circa late 1950’s. This elegant sideboard is mahogany with inlaid ebony. It has a hand rubbed black lacquer top and black lacquered legs with fantastic patinated brass door handles. The accordion doors open to reveal more than ample interior storage (it can be retrofitted to any specs) and there is a circular cutout in the back of the chest for wire for stereo or electronic components.

Max Gottschalk Sling Chair

Patinated leather and steel sling chair by Max Gottschalk circa mid 1970’s. This example has a hand stitched back with fantastic broken in leather sling with a swooping steel frame. Gottschalk’s original stamp appears on the back side of the leather.

Kabbalist Totem Sculpture by Jeanette Bernhard

Carved totem sculpture by Jeanette Bernhard circa mid 1960’s. This 6.5′ tall work is executed in sculpted and stacked foam and is from a series Ms. Bernhardt did involving the mysteries and mysticism of the Kaballah.

Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen high back swivel Oxford chair circa mid 1960’s. This example has it’s original heavily patinated caramel leather and star aluminum base. We love how perfectly broken in the leather is on this chair but we can also happily upholstery it in the leather or fabric of your choice.
