Steven Sles oil on linen painting circa mid 1960’s. Sles was a handicapped painter who studied under Hans Hoffman and remarkably painted all his works with his mouth. Incredible All Original Sofas by Metropolitan
All original Metropolitan sofas, circa early 1960s. These examples have their original striped cotton upholstery with hues of oranges off white’s taupe and black. The legs and stretchers are solid walnut. The set is versatile in that it can be arranged in an L and the two sides of the loveseat can be used as chairs.
