Leonardo Nierman Mendelejis (1 November 1932 – 7 June 2023) was a Mexican painter and sculptor with a background in music. His musical training had a deep influence on his artwork, which is demonstrated in this lyric 1963 oil painting on board in the way that he reflects abstracted visual movement and harmony. Nierman’s paintings and sculptures were exhibited in Mexico and in over 60 different locations abroad.
