Paul Evans studio sideboard or chest, circa 1969. This all original hand forged masterpiece is from Evans Argente line which only had a brief run for a little less than two years. This signed example melds patinated aluminum, slate, welded steel and leather to form a work that seamlessly flows and surprises. The top has two inserted pieces of slate and the interior has 4 hand forged patchwork drawers on one side and two leather wrapped shelves on the other. Remarkable original condition.
