Sister Mary Corita Kent (1918-1986), a.k.a. Sister Corita, was known for her text-based pop influenced printmaking that conveyed her activism and spiritually-informed social commentary to promote love and tolerance. This print features bright swashes of color and a quote by e.e. cummings, “be of love (a little) more careful than of everything.” Artwork is signed in pencil by the artist.
