Description
Toshiyuki Kita designed the ‘wink’ chaise/chair in 1980 for Cassina. The headrests, divided into two parts, feature dead stock Marimekko floral fabric, and can be moved or adjusted freely. The chair has a concave, reclining back and the extending, folding footrest can convert the chair to a chaise.
This iconic chair design is part of the permanent collection at the MOMA museum in New York, Pompidou Centre in Paris, and Vitra Design Museum in Germany.
