Early Knoll Mies Van Der Rohe Barcelona Chairs

These are the earliest pair of Knoll Barcelona chairs that we have seen in some time. These examples have hand rubbed stainless steel frames and are upholstered in their original wonderfully patinated black leather. Please see the photos for a photograph of the earliest Knoll label. Harvey Probber Mahogany & Cane Chest

Harvey Probber chest of drawers circa late 1950’s. This striking example is done in striped African mahogany and has two sliding cane front doors. There are four interior white lacquered drawers on the left side and an adjustable shelf on the other. Excellent restored condition. Rosewood and glass floating wall credenza from Denmark circa late 1960’s. This example has wonderfully grained Brazilian rosewood with 3 sliding glass doors and adjustable interior shelves.

Unusual Saarinen Samson Berman Coffee Table

Round Eero Saarinen for Knoll coffee table circa late 1950’s. The unusual part of this table are the inlaid colorful ceramic tiles in the top. This table is part of an estate designed by New York interior designer Samson Berman. Part of Berman’s flair involved inlaying tile and other exotic materials into pre existing designs.
This is a one off table and is part of several Berman pieces that Red recently acquired and will be featuring in the coming days.

Fabulous Mahogany Ebony & Brass Sideboard

Mahogany ebony and brass sideboard circa late 1950’s. This elegant sideboard is mahogany with inlaid ebony. It has a hand rubbed black lacquer top and black lacquered legs with fantastic patinated brass door handles. The accordion doors open to reveal more than ample interior storage (it can be retrofitted to any specs) and there is a circular cutout in the back of the chest for wire for stereo or electronic components.

Arne Jacobsen Fritz Hansen Oxford Chair

Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen high back swivel Oxford chair circa mid 1960’s. This example has it’s original heavily patinated caramel leather and star aluminum base. We love how perfectly broken in the leather is on this chair but we can also happily upholstery it in the leather or fabric of your choice.

Bruno Mathsson Folding Dining Table

Dark walnut folding dining table by Bruno Mathsson for Karl Mathsson circa mid 1960’s. Fully extended this table measures 110″ long and is extremely versatile in that it can be used with one or both of its sides down. It also can be completely folded up for easy storage.
Excellent restored condition.

Prototype Robert Whitton Bird Chairs

Pair of prototype chairs designed by Robert Whitton circa late 1980’s. These examples have cantilevered seats tubular steel legs subtly and curved backs with two circular cutouts in each back. They are powder coated lemon yellow and can be used indoors or out.
